Troubleshooting

This page covers the most common early error patterns. The goal is quick classification before anyone goes too deep too early.

The box is not reachable

  • Check whether startup is complete.
  • For LAN, verify that Ethernet is connected and active.
  • If the device name is not resolved, use the QR path or inspect the local network environment.
  • If no network is desired, use offline mode directly at the box.

Login does not work

Check the username and password from the handout first. In many cases, the issue is input rather than the system itself.

Model behavior feels wrong

Repeat the same task with a second model. That quickly separates model-specific behavior from unclear prompting or expectations.

Documents are not used well

Start with a smaller and more clearly structured document set. Broad or messy input makes evaluation harder.

When to go deeper

If browser access, handout credentials and basic checks are all confirmed and the problem persists, the next step is not random trial and error. Use the dashboard, and only then move toward shell-based diagnostics if needed.
